This Aprilaire heat pump thermostat has 5+2 weekday/weekend programming which allows programming four events for the weekdays and two or four events for the weekend. It has a large, easy-to-read, backlit display. Set point and room temperature are displayed simultaneously. Fahrenheit/Celsius selectable. Battery powered. Low battery indicator and easy battery replacement. Replace batteries about once a year or when 'low battery' appears in display. Uses two AA alkaline batteries. Temporary and permanent (vacation) hold. This thermostat is capable of indicating when the air filter should be changed. Protection from high and low temperature extremes during heating cycles' even if the battery loses power. Energy Star rated. It is pre-programmed with Energy Star recommended settings.
