This is a battery operated, motion occupancy sensor which triggers lights and appliances based on motion detection, and/or dusk-to-dawn conditions. If you walk into the room where the Motion Sensor is located, it will send a signal to a Lamp Module to turn a lamp. As long as you keep moving, the light will stay on, and when you stop moving, the light turns off after the amount of time you select. It can also send a signal to an Appliance Module to turn on an appliance such as a fan or any plug-in appliance. It can also send the signal to a Chime Module to set a chime or an alarm. This motion detector mounts easily on the wall. It's small so you can place them almost anywhere. It operates in conjunction with a base transceiver which is included. Additionally, if desired, the sensor can send a signal at dusk to turn on a lamp and a signal to turn it off at dawn, for a dusk-to-dawn operation. Great for energy savings, security and convenience. Great security for protecting an area with more than one entry point. This kit includes the Wireless Motion Sensor and the Base Transceiver.
