This wireless outdoor motion sensor is battery operated and works with a transceiver (included) to send signals inside the home to turn on a lamp, an appliance, a chime or alarm. If someone approaches your home, the outdoor motion detector sends a wireless signal to the transceiver that triggers a signal which can turn on lights and appliances or other security devices. Since is battery operated, and very small, it can be placed almost anywhere. Weather resistant, great for outdoors. Can also be used to turn on lights at dusk and off at dawn.
